MIPS and MACRA Compliance

What the service is: MACRA is a law which recently revamped the medicare and medicaid payments system. MIPS is the Merit-based Incentive Payment System, which is new under MACRA. MIPS is paired with the Advanced Alternative Payment Models (APMs), which was also included in MACRA.

What we do: Both of these legislative changes have created a new hurdle for Healthcare IT, but we understand the complexities of these HIPAA and Medicare Protocols. Accordingly, we are fully MACRA compliant, and utilize the new payment under MIPS and ARMs.

System Backup and Disaster Recovery

What the service is: In the modern healthcare landscape, technology is integral to the operation of the practice. An hour or two of downtime will have a negative impact on patient services and care, and if the system is down for an extended period of time, there would be more severe consequences. IT providers must therefore always be ready in the case of an outage.

What we do: In the event of a disaster, we make it possible to be fully functional as soon as possible through backups. We make sure your system is backed up at all times and will be able to replace the current system completely — easily and smoothly. The systems are backed up continuously and stored onsite to insure a smooth transition. This is the same for clinical and administrative processes, as we understand both are priorities for you.

Clinical System Integration

What the service is: To effectively prepare for the future realities of the healthcare business, while simultaneously maintaining a focus on current day to day operations, many hospitals and healthcare providers are turning to clinical system integration to increase the quality of their service, while also striving to be cost-effective, and also take on the accountability to effectively manage utilization and the health of populations in the future. We understand that the care you give to your patients is multifaceted. We make it easy to work across these services, including outpatient and inpatient care, rehabilitation, as well as home and palliative care.

Backoffice Process & Document Management

What the service is: A back office, in most corporations, is where tasks dedicated to running the company itself take place. The term back office comes from the building layout of early companies, where the front office would contain the sales and other customer-facing staff and the back office would be those that are manufacturing or developing the products or those involved in administration without being seen by customers. Although the operations of a back office are seldom prominent, we realize that they are a major contributor to the daily workings of any business.

Clinic Workflow Evaluation & Design

What the service is: Similar to the design of the network design, the workflow of the employees takes into account the office space and your clinic’s unique operation flow. These operations could occur simultaneously and at many different administrative levels to complete a single task. One example is filling out and delivering prescriptions- If not planned carefully, the time it takes from the doctor to fill the prescription to the patient picking it up at the pharmacy could be a lengthy one.

What we do: We tailor make and design a workflow evaluation based on the needs of your organization, aiming to improve the overall efficiency of your company and adding value to your organization’s activities. We dedicate time to sit down and talk with you, and each workflow evaluation is unique to the requirements and priorities that you present us with.

Virtualization

What the service is: Your servers and workstations are the way you access your patient’s data and perform everyday operations for the clinic. Servers hold data, run virtual machines, and are the backbone of your operation. We skillfully operate your servers to ensure they are working and reliable. The same is true of the workstations. However, these serve as more of the access point to information, which makes it even more important that they run smoothly.

What we do: We provide an end to end service, setting up your servers and workstations so that you can focus on helping your customer. In addition, in the event of any issue, we provide both onsite and virtual support to help resolve the problem as soon as possible. Equipment management is an important part of what we do, so we make sure the servers and machines on site are running optimally.

Network Security Management

What the service is: In the modern era, protecting your information and that of your patients is more complicated. Therefore, we employ the best in anti-malware and antivirus software to prevent any breaches of security, preventing any loss in clinical or administrative activities.

After patient care, the most important part of a practice is to protect the information of the patients, as the dissemination of private information to unwanted sources could lead to a loss of patient trust and financial issues.

The following are some threats we protect against- Packet sniffers, IP spoofing, Defacing, Denial of service (DoS), Spam, Man-in-the-middle attack, Viruses, Trojan horses, worms, HTTP exploits, and Application layer attacks.

Network Design & Support

What the service is: Network planning and design is a process by which we design a tailor-made network for your practice. This network design process encompasses a topological design, synthesis, and realization. We aim to make sure that it meets all your needs, as the subscriber and operator. We also provide around the clock support in the event that something goes wrong.

What we do: When designing a network, we consider all factors for your practice: cost, materials, range, and speed. Our main concern here is to make sure that we create the most efficient system based on your practice’s need and resources.

Practice Management System

What the service is: Switching from one management system to another involves a group effort, and not everyone will have the required training to make this transition smooth and effective. We train employees in system operations, as well as oversee the transition to ensure it is as smooth as possible.

What we do: For an office manager to be able to deal with day to day operations such as administrative, legal, financial, technological, they must use a Medical practice management system (PMS). In the modern world, whether for a small office or a large organization, PMS deals with a large variety of issues such as coding, billing, tracking payer responsiveness to claims, communicating with patients, documenting clinical activity, tracking provider and practice performance, financial reporting, and gathering and submitting quality program data, which are all equally important to the daily functioning of your medical practice.
